Birdco Birding App

Overview

This is Version 0.5 of a birding app that will hopefully have several uses. This version has one feature. When you upload your eBird life list, the app will show all species you have seen in taxonomic order, grouped by Order and Family. Any Order or Family that you have recorded at least one member species in eBird will be highlighted in green. Those that you haven't recorded any member species will be white.

The next version will allow you to create itineraries and (hopefully) maps to help plan trips. Using the eBird taxonomy and your eBird life list, you will be able to design itineraries optimized for specific species, new life birds, or other variables TBD.

Access

Accessing the app requires an invitation code. On your first visit, select "Redeem your invite code" and add your Name, Email Address, and the Invite Code to the sign-up form. For subsequent visits, select Log in, enter your email address, and click Send login link. This will send a "magic email" that automatically gives you access to the app without a password.
